Summer Programme Coordinator
TEMPORARY ROLE
Support the logistical coordination, promotion and sign up of trips and activities offered as part of the Family Summer Programme.
£13 p/h/ 3 days per week (ideally Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Start date: 26th July
End date: 3rd September
Summer Programme Coordination
- Liaising with partners to coordinate and ensure for smooth running of trips
- Overseeing trip/ activity sign up process with the use of central family programme phone via text and WhatsApp
- Liaise with families to monitor trip sign ups/ cancellations and ensure trips are full/ families have all relevant information
- Use our database to ensure registers are created and attendances are logged
- Prepare “trip packs” for trip leaders including Oyster cards, lanyards, petty cash, route maps, registers
- Work with wider team to ensure risk assessments and all relevant paperwork is completed
- Share relevant opportunities with clients and families via WhatsApp and via Tutors/ IAG Advisors.
General
- Encourage and maintain links between staff and volunteers and partners, keeping a good flow of information and communication
- Maintain a general working knowledge of the activities of the organisation
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions as agreed with the line manager
- Be open and responsive, working in a collaborative way with other staff members to create and implement the systems, policies and procedures outlined above and develop the organization

Person specification: skills, knowledge and experience
Essential
- 2+ years’ experience of project coordination experience
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience of using CRM platforms
- Competent/advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A quick learner of new software and skills
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of the charity sector
- Knowledge and experience of working in the local area
- Experience of working with Salesforce
- A criminal record check is not currently required for this role.
