WOW! Said the Owl at Little Angel Theatre
Explore the wonderful world of colours with a curious little owl, who is determined to stay awake and see what daylight brings.
From the warm, pink glow of dawn through to a day filled with the bright colours of green leaves, blue sky, white clouds and, finally, a stunning rainbow – ‘WOW!’ But despite the beauty of the daytime world, the little owl decides that the night-time stars are the most beautiful of all.
WOW! Said the Owl, the acclaimed children’s book by award-winning author, Tim Hopgood, is brought to life through a blend of beautiful storytelling, puppetry and music. Directed by Joy Haynes, this show will delight and excite very young audiences.

Reading Bridge Intro Session
Do you know any young adults aged 16+ who are interested in a career in teaching, childcare, social care or youth mentoring?
Join Nova’s new Reading Bridge project — an opportunity to take part in monthly interactive workshops on storytelling and mentoring. You’ll learn how to bring stories to life and support younger readers in Nova’s online book clubs for children in Years 1 and 2.
These workshops will help you develop engaging storytelling techniques, mentoring skills, and confidence in supporting shy or reluctant readers — while strengthening your own literacy, communication and leadership skills.
It’s ideal preparation for careers in education, youth work, or social care, and a great addition to your CV, UCAS personal statement, or apprenticeship applications.
Monthly online sessions will run through Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 (dates to be confirmed) and you can join this Intro Session to find out more!

Get ready for a feel-good burst of 80s energy! Following sell-out runs in Boston and New York, Sing Street makes its UK premiere in London to rave reviews. Set in 1985 Dublin, it follows 16-year-old Conor, who starts a band—without actually having one—just to impress the cool and mysterious Raphina. With catchy original songs, live music on stage, and a story full of heart, this uplifting coming-of-age tale will have the whole family leaving the theatre smiling.Sing Street is recommended for ages 12+ and is perfect for teens and parents to enjoy together. The show contains some mild language and references to teen relationships, plus theatrical haze and flashing lights.
