Python Coding Camp with MAMA.codes

Join us for a fun, festive one-day Python Coding Camp led by the expert team from MAMA.codes. This hands-on session is a great opportunity for young people to explore coding, build confidence and learn the basics of one of the world’s most widely used programming languages.

• Use commands and loops
• Create interactive projects using user input
• Develop problem-solving skills through real coding challenges

The camp is open to all young people aged 11 and over who are curious about coding. Whether you are completely new to Python or have some prior experience, we’d love to hear from you. When registering, please let us know whether the young person is a beginner or has previous coding experience, so we can tailor the session to the right level.

Join us for a creative Gingerbread House making activity! Each child will have their own gingerbread house to take home with them. They will design their houses on paper before taking on constructing their ginger bread house.

We have places for a group of three to join an evening of connection and great food — all free of charge. Guests will share a three-course, restaurant-quality meal created on the night by Head Chef Andi, using surplus ingredients donated by City Harvest. The evening offers warmth, conversation, and a relaxed social atmosphere, helping guests build confidence and enjoy a joyful night out. There’s even a free raffle for guests.

Reading Bridge Intro Session

Do you know any young adults aged 16+ who are interested in a career in teaching, childcare, social care or youth mentoring?

Join Nova’s new Reading Bridge project — an opportunity to take part in monthly interactive workshops on storytelling and mentoring. You’ll learn how to bring stories to life and support younger readers in Nova’s online book clubs for children in Years 1 and 2.

These workshops will help you develop engaging storytelling techniques, mentoring skills, and confidence in supporting shy or reluctant readers — while strengthening your own literacy, communication and leadership skills. 

It’s ideal preparation for careers in education, youth work, or social care, and a great addition to your CV, UCAS personal statement, or apprenticeship applications.

Monthly online sessions will run through Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 (dates to be confirmed) and you can join this Intro Session to find out more!

Tower of London (TICKETS ONLY)

The Tower of London with over 1,000 years of history is home to the Crown Jewels, the iconic ‘Beefeater’ Yeoman Warders, and the legendary ravens that have kept the kingdom from collapsing. Inside the White Tower, the oldest building of the castle, is an 11th-century chapel and historic Royal Armouries collections. You can explore the castle and exhibits on your own, but a guided tour can help you navigate this popular attraction most efficiently.
