NORTH KENSINGTON YOUTH
North Kensington Youth is a programme run by Nova for young people aged 9 to 18 years old living in North Kensington. Originally established for young people in our community affected by the Grenfell fire, North Kensington Youth is open to young people living in Notting Dale, St Helen’s, Dalgarno, Golborne, Colville and Norland.
With a specific focus on development, the programme is designed to support young people to improve their communication, leadership and resilience.
We also provide a range of opportunities for young people throughout the year with fun and engaging activities after school and on weekends in term-time, and during the school holidays too.
If you register for NKY, you will have opportunities to take part in lots of different activities throughout the year including:
NKY Learn
Supports young people’s learning, and provides opportunity to develop existing skills and learn new ones. For example homework club!
NKY Connect
Allows young people to make new friends and connect with their community and other young people. For example our Young Creators at The Science Museum.
NKY Holiday
Children and young people’s activities throughout the school holiday that allow young people to have fun with others their age, whilst trying new things, learning new skills, exploring new places and meeting new people.
NKY Learn

During the summer holiday we also run ‘Careers’, an opportunity for young people to learn more about future careers in an exciting and practical way, taking part in exciting career insights visits and unique workshops.
