Our planet is changing here and now. Ever wondered how scientists are tackling the big environmental challenges of our time? And how do they affect our health?
From air pollution to climate change, join this free interactive science club with Imperial researchers to discover more about our changing world. Aimed at children aged 8-12 years, each week your mission involves learning about environmental science and what we can do to make a difference for people and planet.
Through hands-on activities, you will explore environmental challenges, air pollution, climate change, and health, alongside Imperial scientists who make discoveries and create solutions on a daily basis!
Sessions include:
• Pollution and environmental challenges (16 Nov)
• Health, healthy environments and me! (23 Nov)
• ‘Sensing walk’ – discover air pollution in the local area, how do we measure it?
• Rising fuel bills, energy efficiency and solutions
• Celebration event (date TBC)
