Learning Lunch: Hope Through Fairtrade
Join us for Fairtrade fortnight to hear the stories of the people who grow our food and drinks, mine our gold and who grow the cotton in our clothes… how they are impacted by climate change, why there is such extreme injustice there and what needs to happen next.
This session will be facilitated by Sarah Brazier. Sarah has been campaigning for trade justice since the early 2000s when she joined the Oxfam Outreach Team working on the Make Trade Fair and Make Poverty History campaigns at public events across the UK. She later joined the Outreach steering group to help with their public event outreach strategy.
She joined the Fairtrade Foundation in 2012 working across the public engagement team and is currently Campaigns Manager in the Fairtrade Campaigns Team who work to grow support for fairer trade in the UK public.
