So get your thinking caps on and join Nova’s Meet a Scientist to learn more about the amazing world around us.

Batteries and computers to fight climate change

Dr. Gabriel Krenzer is a Faraday Institution PhD student in Battery Science from the Department of Materials at Imperial College London. During this talk he will be sharing why batteries are so essential to enabling the energetic transition away from fossil fuels that we desperately need. He will also highlight how he is designing the next generation of batteries using super-computers and other techniques at the interface between Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Computer Science.
