Do you know a young person who enjoys being creative, speaking up about the issues that matter to them, or making a positive difference in their community or the wider world?

We’re excited to be working with our friends at Historic Royal Palaces to offer a fantastic four-session Youth Activism Programme at 👑 Kensington Palace.

Together, young people will explore the history of social activism, human rights and positive change, while discovering creative ways to express their own ideas, build confidence and make their voices heard.

Over the four workshops, participants will:

Explore The Last Princesses of Punjab exhibition and discover the inspiring true story of royal sisters connected to India who challenged expectations, stood up for themselves and found ways to have their voices heard in a changing world.

Explore themes including identity, rights, democracy, activism and social change, using history to inspire conversations about the issues that matter to young people today.

Meet experts and discover how activism, civic participation and collective action have helped shape society. Learn practical ways young people can speak up, influence change and have their voices heard.

Take part in creative workshops, including zine-making, poetry, performance and other imaginative ways to share ideas, opinions and stories, while developing the creativity, confidence and communication skills to become positive changemakers and active citizens of the future.

Design and develop their own campaign or social action project, creating practical tools to raise awareness about an issue they care about and sharing their ideas with others through creative and engaging methods.

🍕 Lunch will be provided each day.

Spaces are limited! If you know a young person who would enjoy taking part, please reply with their name and age to register their interest.
