Royal Academy: Entangled Pasts, 1768–now: Art, Colonialism and Change

Nova have been offered free tickets for adults or young adults who would like to visit the current exhibition, “Entangled Pasts, 1768–now: Art, Colonialism and Change,” at the Royal Academy.

This ground-breaking exhibition brings together over 100 major contemporary and historical works, creating a powerful dialogue about art’s influence on narratives of empire, enslavement, resistance, abolition, and colonialism. Featuring works by leading contemporary British artists of the African, Caribbean, and South Asian diasporas, alongside pieces by renowned artists from the past 250 years, this exhibition explores questions of power, representation, and history.

Following the visit you also have the opportunity to take part in a “drop in and draw” session, for an evening of drawing exercises.
