Starting Monday, 28th July | Mondays 11am–11.45pm | 5 Weeks

Transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7? Join Fiona, Nova’s reading super-fan, for an exciting and engaging 5-week online book club where you’ll dive into “The Boy at the Back of the Class” by Onjali Q. Raúf, to prepare for the secondary school.

This heartwarming story follows Ahmet, a new refugee at a London school, and the children who band together to help him find his place. Perfect for students making the leap to Year 7, this book is packed with themes of friendship, empathy, and teamwork — ideal for sparking meaningful discussions and self-reflection.

What to Expect:

• Weekly sessions every Monday from 11am–11.55pm (starting 28th July)
• Fun, interactive group discussions and activities
• A supportive environment to help students explore the book and express their ideas
• Insight into important life lessons about kindness, courage, and inclusivity

Each week, we’ll read around 40 pages, breaking down the story into manageable chunks so everyone can stay on track. Whether you’re a reading pro or just starting to dive into new books, this club is designed to engage, inspire, and get you excited about reading.
